Carly Minsky

Since 2022, Carly has focused her practice on all areas of family law. She has worked on a variety of family law matters in Illinois including pre- and post-nupital agreements, divorce, maintenance and child support disputes, domestic violence cases, and parenting time disputes.

Carly approaches her practice with both an analytical lens and a creative perspective, understanding that when it comes to helping her clients, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. She helps clients navigate complex legal issues with compassion, diligence, and confidence.

Carly attended the University of Florida where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Criminology and cum laude with a B.A. in Spanish. Carly earned her Juris Doctor, with a Certificate in Child and Family Law, from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2022.

Prior to joining Hurst, Robin, Kay & Allen, Carly worked as an attorney for family law firms in Cook and Lake Counties. While attending the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Carly served as the Research Editor for the Children’s Legal Rights Journal and as a student clinician in the Civitas ChildLaw Clinic.

Carly currently serves as the Fundraising Director for the Chicago chapter of the
University of Florida Alumni Association. She previously served as the organization’s Social Media Chair and looks forward to her continued and growing involvement with this organization.

Outside of her practice, Carly enjoys spending time with her family, going to the theater, traveling, and going to boxing and Pilates classes.
